 MBA Program Introduction

作为西苏格兰大学国际化的一部分,西苏格兰大学先后与法国、德国、意大利、新加坡、马来西亚、香港等地的学术机构合作开设了部分西苏格兰大学学士及硕士课程,国际学生可以在当地攻读这些课程,通过后将获发西苏格兰大学的学位,所获学位与在本校攻读相同。

 

Knowledge Universe是伦敦考试委员会(London Examination Board)旗下学院,与西苏格兰大学合作在亚太地区开展西苏格兰MBA项目。Knowledge Universe在澳门设有西苏格兰大学授权的西苏格兰MBA学习中心;服务于中国大陆及香港、澳门地区的学员。

学生将修读8个PGDBA的必修模块和2个选修模块,共120学分。完成后学生将获得伦敦考试委员会授予的Postgraduate Diploma of Business Administration;并进入西苏格兰大学MBA战略商业项目,战略商业项目为60学分,完成后学员将获颁西苏格兰大学工商管理硕士学位(Master of Business Administration)。学员所获学位证书与在西苏格兰本校攻读一致,学员亦将获邀赴英参加毕业典礼并加入西苏格兰大学校友会。

- Managing Human Capital

●  Demonstrate a critical understanding that to engage successfully in processes of human capital management, their thinking needs to go beyond such dualisms as thinking and acting, structure and culture, strategy and implementation, and see each of these as different facets of unified processes in human and organizational life

理解他们的思维需要超越二元论。像思考和行动,架构和文化,战略和实施,两者之间并不对立,他们需要将这些视为人类和组织生活统一进程中的不同方面,才能成功地参与到人力资本管理过程中来

- Leading Organization

Upon completion of this unit, learners will be able to:

●  Analyze a strategic context of an organization and envision necessary directions and activities

●  Evaluate and select appropriate processes or actions for developing the potential of managers and employees for engaging in critical and strategic thinking (e.g. involvement in decision making, empowerment, information, concern, etc)

●  Evaluate opportunities and strategies for developing partnerships with other organization’s to achieve strategic goals

战略商业项目

Strategic Business Project 

 

商业研究项目分为两个部分:1. 商业计划书;2. 商业项目研究,学员在导师的指导下完成。

 

商业计划书占比25%,要求基于自己熟悉的商业领域提出一个研究计划;商业项目研究占比75%,是对商业组织某一特定领域的问题研究与改善方案。包括问题的起源、问题调查的样本和依据、造成的影响、解决方案的提出、解决方案的理论依据、解决方案的实施。
通过整个战略商业研究项目,学员应能融会贯通整个课程所学到的知识并能利用其用于商业实践。


There are two main parts in  Strategic Business Project: 1. Business Plan 2. Business Project. The student will complete that under the guideline of UWS authorized instructors. 
Business Plan is to propose a business plan baesd on a specific area the student be familiar with, it worth 25% of the total marks; Business Project worths another 75% and it is the research and improvement project of one specific area within the organization, which includes the cause of the issue, the samples and evidence used in research, the influence, the solution proposal, theoretical basis and implementation of the solution.
